Decentralized Farming Projects

Kalu wants to supply each hotel´s food operations with high-quality, flavorful, and organic vegetables that improve the nutritional experience of clients. Each project implements decentralized aeroponic methods developed to provide the hotel restaurants with nutrient-rich, quality farm-to-table organic produce grown for the property.

First, Kalu conducts a market study to determine the need or feasibility of the farming project for the hotel property and for other hotels or markets nearby. To reduce the investment risk every farming project is planned for an established baseline consumption from the hotel.

Although the start of a farm project is directly linked to the opening of a Kalu hotel to ensure a minimum consumption volume that provides economic viability, the harvested produce will also be sold to hotels and food markets in the area.
